REVISION:
of northern people. Yellowknife is
a great place to raise a family, and
KBL has a strong, autonomous and
dedicated group of staff making our
firm feel like a family business, this
enables individual and company
success. In fact, my wife is our con-
troller and our employees are lo-
cal—community and family are very
important to us,” Oldfield explains.
As for the current state of the busi-
ness, and plans for the future, Old-
field says that KBL will look towards
regional expansion as well as ser-
vice expansion. “We would like to
build a facility in the Yukon, and
we would be the first to be there as
well. Our growth objective is to pro-
mote expansion to service Northern
business throughout the Canada
and Alaska; we believe the Yukon
Territory is a natural next step.
For KBL, the road to success in the
north was met with some bumps in
the beginning. But with a superior
team in place, the company looks set
toachieveitsgoalsacrossregionsand
