uncompromising creativity. Paul has
always been very important in the role
of advancing our look while maintain-
ing a distinct visual legacy across all
of our platforms. Along with him, we
work with an extremely talented and
experienced crew of camera opera-
tors, audio technicians, and camera
assistants. We’re really all on the same
wavelength, and come together with-
out fail to produce the highest quality
product possible.
What steps are taken after the
shoot to ensure CEG’s own personal
hallmark?
Great care is taken in each step
of the process. It starts with assigning
the right writers, producers, editors
and project managers for each project.
Then we ensure that each person fully
embraces the story messaging and
objectives. Our impeccable writers
and producers put their CEG stamp on
each segment after the shoot through
their efforts in post-production. Our
supervising editor, Ian Pearson takes
our rough cuts and through his dedi-
cated team turns them into a polished
product that really amplifies our origi-
nal creative vision. During the process,
the whole team is involved – and we’re
never satisfied with one or two passes.
Our goal is to never compromise qual-
ity.
What can you tell us specifically
about the new program, Canadian
Business Spotlight?
Having been successful in the
business programming space for de-
cades, we are all very passionate about
the entire Spotlight endeavor. Over
the years, our specialized content has
always been expanding in terms of
scope and quality. As a group we are
pleased that beyond our widely suc-
cessful health and lifestyle programs,
we’ll be able to use the same principles
and vast experience and apply them to
the Canadian business industry fo-
rum in our Business Spotlight series. I
know that I’m not alone in my excite-
ment for this project, and what we’ll be
able to achieve with our integrated and
authoritative approach when applied
to topics that a lot of Canadians care
about in the business arena. What’s
more is that we will be able to feature
the growth and unique vantage into
this realm with CIO on an on-going ba-
sis. As we move forward, CEG is look-
ing forward to sharing the “spotlight”
with your loyal readers.
